Why Do We Need Supporters?

America’s Commerce Corps is a grassroots movement, meaning we need to harness support at the local level to bring about change. Like grass, we need to grow it from the bottom-up, not the top-down!

We are working to preserve a way of life in America where there is a tangible and palpable unity in community.

We need Supporters to encourage members of their community to actively engage so that our seed of an idea grows into a flourishing cause of strengthening communities across America.

How Does Being a Supporter Work?

We have three types of Supporters – Individuals, Civic Organizations, Public Agencies. Here is how each helps us further our mission.

Individuals

Use ComCon™ (www.ComCon.mobi) as their primary search tool for all things local, whether looking in their community or one they plan to visit anywhere in America. They share this community-building tool with everyone in their network.

For those that want to take their support to another level, and have the means to do so, they make a monetary investment to enrich their community through this program.

Civic Organizations

Share the benefits of the program with all their stakeholders. Their organizations are comprised of people working together every day to improve lives in their community through service. Supporting the program is a natural extension of the important contributions they are already making.

If an organization is an active member of a Business Association Partner, it is included in ComCom™ providing the national exposure it so richly deserves.

Public Agencies

Share the benefits of the program through their normal communication distribution channels. Whether the agency is working to attract new companies, help existing companies grow or assisting entrepreneurs with their businesses, it has one overriding goal – to enhance the prosperity of their community and citizens. Supporting the program is a means of amplifying their existing mission.
